CXTN Main Account holders, can create two types of accounts:

  1. Create Sub-Accounts.

Sub-Accounts are client accounts, used to access a host of features that include creating User accounts, bulk payments, sending transfers, and anything else possible under the Main Account.

In the Frameworks below, we highlight how a Main Account can be combined with the use of Sub-Accounts to unlock the power of the CXTN API.

  1. Create User Accounts.

These are created for customers, employees and any other type of user that is directly linked to a Main or Sub-account. Their relationship to the business is based either on an internal or external capacity, like issuing a Card to an employee vs issuing a Card to a customer.

Frameworks

There are four frameworks to cater to different business needs. These are broken up into the following:

Individual
The Main Account serves your business exclusively for internal purposes, such as creating Fx Quotes, getting Fx Rates, Executing Quotes, etc.
Individual with Users
The Main Account serves your business for internal and external purposes. User Accounts can be created, and customers can access platform features, such as creating Fx Quotes, getting Fx Rates, Executing Quotes, etc.
Individual with Sub-Accounts
Sub-Accounts are created within the Main Account. This framework enables API Main Accounts to create child API accounts that behave in the same way as the Main Account, using all the features and functionality, including the capability to create User Accounts.
Individual with Nested Sub-Accounts
Sub-Accounts are created within Sub-Accounts. This architecture creates hierarchies within Sub-Accounts, with the added capability to create User Accounts within each Sub-Account.
